Meet the Crew of Welcome To New York


Sean David (Story by/ Producer) currently resides and works in New York City. He is from just outside Baltimore, and moved to New York to pursue a career in film-making. He has a bachelor’s degree in Film and Video from the School of Visual Arts, and is currently freelancing in Production for various features, commercials, and event planning companies. He has worked for 20th Century Fox, TLA Releasing, Caviar Amsterdam, and Belladonna Productions, and has freelanced for HBO, MTV, and the Sundance Channel, to name a few. He frequently works for Revolver Films in LA, and Laundry Service Media in NYC (including their recent feature “Wifed Out”). This will be the 2nd film he has produced with Steven Tylor O’Connor.

Steven Tylor O’Connor (Writer/Director/Producer/ Casting Director) currently travels back and forth between New York City and LA. Originally from Arizona, he attended the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts: The School of Film and Television to become an actor. Steven has worked in the casting offices for CBS/ Paramount Primetime scripted programming and for NBCUniversal Primetime scripted programming. He has covered such shows as “Community,” “Parenthood,” “Playboy Club,” “Smash,” among many others.

Steven wrote and directed A Fairy Tale which he co-produced with Sean David. A Fairy Tale has been seen both domestically (Austin, Atlanta, Phoenix, Palm Springs) and internationally (Sao Paolo and Rio de Janiro, Brazil).

Welcome to New York is Steven and Sean’s second project together.Remember, go big or go home. To offend is the right of art. Through awareness comes change, through art comes awareness. I do it because I can, I can because I want to, I want to because you said I couldn’t.



Michael Scott Aronowitz (Executive Producer) has explored, directed, produced, participated and supported theatrical, film and television projects from his early days with Westhampton Beach High School TV through to Hofstra University as a producer and director of HTV News and “Tainted Image” his senior project in which he wrote, produced and directed. 
While his career has taken him from trade publishing to internet advertising to real estate brokerage and digital marketing solutions, he has also pursued political activisim and campaign management in both New York and Washington, DC.  His most recent artistic contribution as Associate Producer for A Fairy Tale led him to support and assist in the making of Welcome to New York.
Michael continues to pursue his theatrical passion as he explores the development of a musical in which he hopes to premier in the coming years.



 Zachary Halley (Line Producer) was the Associate Producer for the upcoming indie horror feature The Wicked.  He was also on the production teams of the films Little Murder, and Master Class starring Faye Dunaway as well as the the television shows “White Collar” for USA Networks, “Tracey Ullman’s State of the Union” for Showtime, “Scream Queens Season 1 and 2” for MTV Networks, “The Sarah Silverman Program” as well as several pilots for Comedy Central.  He attended Carnegie Mellon University and likes long walks on the beach and white wine.
