Matt Watson hates the third Person. I act, and I love it. Why bore you with that conversation. I enjoy the outdoors, and spending time with the people I love. Here’s one for you- last summer while spearfishing on Block Island with my brother Tucker. We were asked by a fisherman to swim out about 100 yards off the coast and see what he had caught ( he’d been fighting it for 2 hrs). It wasnt till we were 90 yards out that we realized, a. sun / going down, b. a fish to big to land, c. few miles off the coast, d.fuck us its a shark. A good game of rocks paper scissors to see who took the first dive, I sank like a loser to the bottom (with a faithful brother joining me for the ride). A giant american stingray, with a 5ft wingspan, laid just inches below our flippers suctioned to the bottom. On the next dive he was hoovering at eye level , as we both blurted out any profantities that would sqeeze through our filed snorkles. It was thrilling. it was beautiful, it scared the shit out of us. Everyday should hold atleast one swim like that one!
